Chances are if you create and sell digital items you've come across your products on file sharing sites.

If you're sick of writing out DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) notices or if you just want to make sure they are sent, worded correctly and worded exactly the same each time, you can use the following form.

You will need to locate the email address for the offending site, example: abuse@illegalsharingsite.com
An address and telephone number are required for a DMCA notice, these don't necessarily have to be yours
~~We do suggest that you enter a valid email address that goes to you as a copy of this notice is sent to you and in case the site needs more information concerning your notice to them~~
PLEASE NOTE: Some sites only allow contact via a form on their site. In this case, we suggest you leave the Abuse Email field blank. UPDATE:We've added a copy and paste feature to this. Please submit like normal for this case, leaving the Abuse Email blank and then submit the form. A copy-paste form will be presented to you upon submission of the form here.
UPDATE: May 22, 2013 - The script no longer sends the email for you as a result of abuse. You will need to copy and paste the resulting form into your own email.
